KINGSFORD, Mich – An Upper Peninsula taxicab company’s carrier’s registration has been suspended.
Kacalo City Cab Transport in Kingsford failed to comply with the Limousine, Taxicab and Transportation Network Act.
The company failed to conduct annual criminal background checks on its drivers.
It also neglected to implement a zero–tolerance alcohol and drug policy for its drivers as required under Michigan law.
The suspension took effect on May 5th.
