L’Anse woman arrested on drug charges

On February 9, 2021, following a one month investigation, detectives from UPSET arrested
Dawn Hueckstaedt, 36 y/o, from Lanse, MI on two counts of Delivery of Suboxone, a 7 year
felony, one count of Inducing a Minor to Commit a Felony, a 3 year felony and one count of
Delivery of a Controlled Substance to a Minor, a 14 year felony. During the investigation,
UPSET detectives made two separate purchases of Suboxone in Lanse, MI from a minor who was
in a vehicle driven by Hueckstaedt.
Hueckstaedt was arraigned in 97th District Court, Baraga County and released on bond
