One car accident involves rollover and no injuries
MARQUETTE COUNTY — At approximately 11:38 am on January 12th, 2020, the Marquette County Sheriff’s Office responded to a one vehicle crash on US 41.
The crash happened near the Negaunee City/Township line in Negaunee Township where a 2003 GMC rolled over. The vehicle was driven by an Ishpeming resident and was heading east when the individual encountered slowing traffic due to another crash. The driver attempted to apply the brakes and the vehicle slid out of control. The vehicle road up along a snowbank and proceeded to roll over onto its side. Both the driver and small child in the vehicle were unhurt.
The driver was listed at fault in the crash.
Traffic control was provided by Sheriff’s Deputies and also assisted by Negaunee Police.
