One death reported in rollover crash in Marquette County
MARQUETTE — One death is reported in a fatal rollover crash that happened earlier today in Marquette County.
Troopers from the Michigan State Negaunee Post responded to the single–vehicle rollover crash that occurred at approximately 12:20 pm on southbound US–41, a half a mile west of the M95 intersection.
The driver of the vehicle, a 69–year–old Florida resident, died at the scene.
The driver’s name is being withheld, pending notification of next of kin.
The crash remains under investigation.
The Michigan State Police were assisted by the Marquette County Sheriff’s Office, Humboldt Township Fire Department, and UPHS EMS personnel.
