New bargain store coming to the community
NEGAUNEE — A new store will be opening in the community, and it’s different than most bargain stores. Quarter to $5 is a store that offers over 12,000 items for people to purchase, ranging from home décor and baby items to hi–end brand name items and food.
There is a daily storewide price that changes throughout the week, starting at $5 dollars on Saturday and ending at $.25 cents on Friday.
“We sell everything in bins, it comes in by the truck load and we empty it all in bins and you get to dig for treasure in there. It’s a lot of fun, it’s like Christmas. People around here have been extremely welcoming and excited about having something different coming into the area” said the owner of Quarter to $5 Neguanee, Tina Thibault.
Each week, there are new items for customers to search through. The grand opening is this Saturday, June 8th.
Everyone in line by 8 a.m. will receive a number to be entered into a drawing for an iPad and an Apple Watch.
They are located at 400 US 41 in Negaunee in the same lot as Border Grill.
