MARQUETTE — Cafe Bodega hosted an art pop-up shop for artists in the community on Tuesday afternoon.

This holiday art sale was to help support the local artists in town as well and some that come from farther out.

The owner of Madgoodies Studio, Madeline Goodman, is the mastermind behind the pop-up sale and helped get the artists together for it.

“It means the world, because as an artist -especially starting off- it’s really scary. And also, [it’s hard] to find a place to sell your work, especially right before the holidays” said Madgoodies Studio Owner, Madeline Goodman.

Goodman was excited to show off her work in her first pop-up shop, but claims that it won’t be her last.

She also hopes that this event sheds light on the smaller artists in the community and their talents.

In total, there were 13 artists showcasing their work.
