House fire in Escanaba under investigation
ESCANABA — At 8:09 p.m. on Saturday, September 29, Escanaba Public Safety officers responded to a house fire on 8th Street in Escanaba.
According to officials, flames were coming out of the two front windows when they arrived on scene. Officials say they were able to attack the fire from the inside of the home and it was suppressed.
Escanaba Public Safety was assisted by the Ford River Township Fire Department, Rampart and the Delta County Dispatch Center. The cause of the fire is unknown and is under investigation.
