Annual pig roast at Brookridge Heights on Thursday

MARQUETTE — Brookridge Heights will be hosting a pig roast this coming Thursday where they will be raising money for the Alzheimer’s Association.

The event will be open to the public and all who want to help support the cause. Tickets for adults will be $10 and tickets for any child who is 12 and younger will cost $5.

There will be silent auctions and raffle bucket prizes throughout the pig roast as well. Brookridge is working hard to help fund the association so that it can help families who have loved ones suffering from the disease.

“The Alzheimer’s Association here in Marquette does some amazing work for families and loved ones who are living with the disease every day,” said Brookridge Heights Sales and Marketing Director, Jennifer Huetter. “It is a really great opportunity to support that mission. All of the money raised through the walk to end Alzheimer’s helps to go towards the research and finding a cure.”

The event will start at 4:30 PM and go until 6:30 PM on Thursday the 9th.
