Babies at Babycakes event hosted at Babycakes Muffin Company

MARQUETTE — Babycakes Muffin Company held a ‘Babies at Babycakes’ event on Monday.

This event is hosted by the Marquette Alger Great Start Collaborative to give parents and their children an opportunity to connect and build relationships.

“We meet here at Babycakes to foster social connections with parents in the community. Parents often feel isolated, especially parents of young children” said Marquette County Parent Liaison, Amanda Schulz. “This summer, we have been doing a lot of family events, so during our meetings the parents and kids will be together.”

The event is free for the public and held on the last Monday of every month at Babycakes in Marquette.
