UPDATE — July 20th, 2018:

The name of the driver killed in Marinette County’s fourth fatal traffic accident this year has been released. 34-year-old Joshua James Tease of Green Bay suffered massive internal injuries, and was pronounced dead at the scene.


SILVER CLIFF — On July 19th at 8:27 A.M., Marinette County Dispatch received calls of a serious car crash involving a logging truck and a car on County Highway “F” just west of County Highway “C” in the town of Silver Cliff.

Deputies from the Marinette County Sheriff’s Department and Silver Cliff Rescue arrived on scene. Initial investigation showed that a four-door sedan was eastbound on County Highway “F” when it went left of the centerline and hit the westbound logger head on.

The driver of the truck was not injured. The driver of the car was pronounced dead at the scene. There were no passengers in either vehicle.

The deceased is believed to be a white male in his mid-30’s from Green Bay, WI. His name is being withheld pending investigation and notification of family. The crash is still under investigation.
