Active methamphetamine lab uncovered by UPSET
IRON COUNTY — Friday, July 20th, 2018, detectives from the Upper Peninsula Substance Enforcement Team (UPSET) conducted an investigation involving the manufacturing of methamphetamine.
The investigation resulted in the execution of a search warrant at a Caspian residence where an active methamphetamine lab was uncovered and removed by UPSET clandestine lab responders. Two suspects, a 52 – year old male and a 44 – year old female, were arrested, with additional charges that are pending as the investigation is ongoing.
The names of the suspects are being withheld pending their arraignment.
