BAYVIEW — On Monday, July 16th at 3:35 A.M., Deputies from the Delta County Sheriff’s Office stopped a vehicle for a traffic infraction in the Bayview area. K-9 Jet was requested at the scene to conduct an exterior sniff of the vehicle.

Deputies located methamphetamine and a loaded handgun next to the driver. The male driver who is a resident of Green Bay was arrested for possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine and carrying a concealed weapon.

Following the traffic stop, Deputies along with Troopers from the Michigan State Police from the Gladstone Post went to a campground in Ford River Township and arrested another male subject from Wisconsin for possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine and a female from Wisconsin for possession of methamphetamine and possession of heroin. Additional charges are pending.

The Delta County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by detectives from the Upper Peninsula Substance Enforcement Team.
