Tahquamenon area teacher charged with sexual assault
LUCE COUNTY — On June 18th 2018, 38-year-old Carrie Ann Miller was charged and arraigned in 92nd District Court in Luce County with two counts of 3rd Degree Criminal Sexual Conduct.
The complaint alleges that Miller sexually assaulted a 16-year-old student from Tahquamenon Area Schools where she was employed as a teacher. Both charges stem from activity alleged to have occured in January of 2018 at the school.
Additional charges are possible pending investigation. Miller is back in court for a probable cause conference on Monday, June 25th. The maximum penalty for 3rd Degree CSC is 15 years.
