UPDATE: M-28/I-75 ramp reconstruction to begin June 11th
UPDATE: Wednesday, May 30th 4:00 p.m.
Reconstruction work on the M-28 ramps at the I-75 interchange near Dafter in Chippewa County, which had been planned to begin May 29th, is now scheduled to begin June 11th.
Work is still scheduled to be completed by November 2018.
DAFTER — The M-28/I-75 ramp reconstruction project will start on Tuesday, May 29th.
The $1 million project will reconstruct the M-28 ramps at the I-75 interchange near Dafter. The project will result in a smoother driving surface and increased safety, as well as extend the lifespan of the roadway.
One alternating lane will be open using a temporary traffic signal during construction.
