Marquette named Best Small Town for Adventure by USA TODAY
MARQUETTE — Marquette has secured a spot as number one in USA TODAY Best Small Town for Adventure. The qualification for the contest was to have a population fewer than 25,000 people and must be big on outdoor adventure.
Marquette competed against 19 other small adventure cities around the United States. Marquette competed against big well–known destinations including Sedona, AZ and Jackson Hole, WY. This recognition is just another accolade for Marquette.
“The national exposure for USA TODAY is always really important for us and having that type of national and sometimes international coverage is always great to promote Marquette,” said Susan Estler, Director of Travel Marquette.
