UPDATE: Names released in three vehicle, one pedestrian accident on US-41

The names of those involved with the accident on US-41 in Negaunee Township have been released.
The first vehicle, a 2012 Toyota Corolla in the right travel lane, was driven by a 15 year-old female from Marquette. This vehicle hit the second vehicle, a 2009 Jeep Liberty that was in the the left lane.
After striking the Liberty, the Toyota then struck the third vehicle involved, a 2012 Jeep Patriot. The Toyota then flipped over, striking the pedestrian standing in front of the Patriot. The driver of the Toyota was not injured, but her passenger, 44 year-old Stephen King of Marquette, sustained injuries.
The Liberty was traveling in the left land and quickly slowed down. This vehicle was driven by 21 year-old Aubri Romback of Negaunee. Her vehicle was struck in the rear end by the Corolla and she was not injured in the accident.
The Jeep Patriot, which was parked on the shoulder of the road was driven by 25 year-old Jordanne Locke of Negaunee. Her vehicle was hit by the Corolla. She was not injured, and neither where her two young children.
The pedestrian, who was standing in front of the Patriot, was identified as 26 year-old Gavin Locke of Negaunee. He sustained injuries after being struck by the Corolla and was transported to UPHS – Marquette for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
NEGAUNEE TOWNSHIP — The Michigan State Police is still investigating a three-vehicle personal injury accident involving a pedestrian that occurred on Sunday evening.
The crash occurred at 6:45 p.m. on US-41 near Brebner Road in Negaunee Township. Prior to the accident, there were two dogs running loose on the highway. The drivers of the vehicles involved were trying to avoid hitting the dogs.
There was a car stopped on the shoulder of the highway with two pedestrians standing near it. One dog crossed the highway and was hit by a pickup truck towing a trailer.
The other dog was running on the highway when another vehicle braked suddenly, swerved out of its lane and was hit by a second vehicle. The second vehicle overturned and struck one of the pedestrians and the parked car as it left the roadway.
Two people were transported by ambulance to UPHS – Marquette. The eastbound lanes of US-41 were closed for two hours while troopers investigated the scene. The eastbound traffic was slowed and allowed to pass by using the paved median.
Further details about the crash will be released after the investigation is completed.
