Police investigating Iron Mountain armed robbery/home invasion

IRON MOUNTAIN — Authorities are currently investigating a reported armed robbery that took place at a residence in Iron Mountain on Wednesday.

At 10:16 a.m., the Iron Mountain Police Department responded to a reported armed robbery/home invasion that occurred at a residence on the west side of the city. The incident occurred approximately one hour before it was reported.

Investigators say that several male subjects entered a residence posing as DEA agents and at least one of the male subjects was in possession of a handgun. A legal marijuana grow was believed to be inside the residence. Both processed and unprocessed marijuana was stolen from the residence.
