Pi day hosted by Iron Bay
MARQUETTE — It’s a great day for some PIE and one of Marquette’s local restaurants is going to help the town celebrate Pi day. Iron Bay Restaurant and Drinkery is hosting Pi day events today and they are working with founders and brewing to raise money for a special organization here in the Upper Peninsula, known as UPAWS.
“We’re looking for donations for UPAWS. We are calling it the Pies for puppies pie walk and so if you wanna come down and you have the opportunity to win a whole pie and we will be doing four of those throughout the day,” said, Head Baker, Lorri Smith.
Founders will also be doing a tap take over later tonight and a release of their limited edition Kentucky Bourbon Stout. The event will be going into tonight and the pie will be ready for your enjoyment. The event starts at 6:30 p.m.
