Woman arrested after two-vehicle accident arraigned in Alger County
ALGER COUNTY — A woman arrested after a two-vehicle accident has been arraigned in Alger County Circuit Court.
Twenty-nine year-old Megan Balko of Munising has been charged with operating while intoxicated and operating a motor vehicle without insurance.
Michigan State Police Troopers arrested Balko on November 22nd. While exiting the parking lot of the White Pine Lodge in Christmas, she failed to yield to a 2007 GMC Yukon travelling eastbound on M-28. The two cars collided and Balko’s 2011 Yukon flipped on its side.
Both drivers and one passenger were treated and released from local hospitals.
Balko is due back in court on December 14th for a preliminary examination.
