Man sentenced in aggravated domestic violence case
MARQUETTE — A man charged with domestic violence was sentenced Friday in Marquette County Circuit Court. Thirty-seven year-old Andre Moore was sentenced to one year in jail with credit for the 106 days he has already served and two years of probation following his sentence.
He pleaded no contest to one charge of aggravated domestic violence – second offense last month. As a result of his plea agreement, five other charges were dropped, including assault with intent to murder.
Moore was arrested by Forsyth Township Police on June 2nd after becoming violent with and assaulting a woman. The woman ended up in the hospital as a result of her injuries.
