MARQUETTE TOWNSHIP — Deputies from the Marquette County Sheriff’s Office and the Search and Rescue unit were called to locate lost hikers near the Harlow Lake Area at 8:34 p.m. on October 18th.

Forty year-old Kelly Quigley of Marquette went hiking in the Hogsback Mountain area around 6:30 p.m. with her 8 year-old and 14 year-old children. On their way back to their vehicle, they became lost after loosing sight of the trail.

When it became too dark to walk safely out of the woods, Quigley called 911. Dispatch received a GPS coordinate from the call which helped searchers locate the hikers.

The three were found just east of Harlow Lake in good health. The family was guided out of the woods. No one required any medical attention.
