MARQUETTE — If you’re looking for something fun to do this weekend, the Father Marquette Catholic School is hosting a Harvest for Education Auction on Saturday, from 6:00 to 11:00 p.m.

The live and silent auction will take place at the lower level of Saint Peter Cathedral in Marquette. Many trips, goodies, and gifts will be auctioned off as well as a chance at some major bucks.

“We have an annual auction, every year, so this year’s event is a bit earlier a little bit before hunting season so we can get more families. If you aren’t able to come to the auction you can always buy a raffle ticket. Ten dollars for a raffle ticket registers you in a chance to win a thousand dollars. Raffle tickets can be purchased in the school offices or local parishes,” said Melissa Curran, a school volunteer.

The theme of the event is “An Evening in Tuscany.” The money from the auction will benefit students of the school.
