SAULT STE. MARIE — Sault Ste. Marie High School has been placed on a lockdown as school officials and local law enforcement address a threat against the school.

The Sault Ste. Marie City Police Department made the announcement just after 9:30 a.m. As a precautionary measure, the high school was placed on lockdown.

Police are on scene investigating the threat. There’s no word on what they’re investigating at this time.
