Police seize heroin during traffic stop
FORD RIVER TOWNSHIP — One person was taken into custody after police found heroin in their vehicle.
Deputies from the Delta County Sheriff’s Office made a traffic stop Sunday in Ford River Township. During the stop, deputies discovered approximately four grams of heroin inside the vehicle.
One person was arrested on the charge of possession with intent to distribute heroin. They were taken to the Delta County Jail and the vehicle was seized by police.
The person’s identity won’t be released until they’re arraigned in Delta County District Court. Troopers from the Michigan State Police – Gladstone Post assisted the Delta County Sheriff’s Office at the scene.
