Man receives jail time & probation on drug charge
MARQUETTE — A Marquette man who pleaded guilty to a felony drug charge received his sentence Friday morning in Marquette County Circuit Court.
Craig Anthony Colombo, 22, received four months in jail and 18 months probation for one count of maintaining a drug house. His jail time could be deferred for a work pass program and a drug treatment program.
Colombo successfully completed an outpatient drug rehab prior to sentencing. In December 2016, police searched a residence on the 500 block of West Baraga Avenue, where they found a large amount of marijuana, edible THC products and other narcotics.
On March 31st, Colombo was arrested by the Marquette Police Department for possession of marijuana with intent to deliver. He pleaded guilty to maintaining a drug house in late July.
