KI SAWYER — The new restaurant Our Grille in KI Sawyer celebrated their opening with a ribbon cutting ceremony Tuesday afternoon.

The eatery that officially opened a month ago was an idea that co-owners Renee and Michelle had when noticing the lack of restaurants in KI Sawyer. The ladies decided to combine their skills of baking and cooking to open Our Grille for the community. The menu includes a daily hot special, burgers, sandwiches, soups, salad, and homemade desserts from their bakery.

So far business has been going well and the pair hopes to continue to provide a nice place to eat to the community.

“We’ve been very busy, there are a lot of businesses around here and we’re just providing a service to the community and to the business workers and it’s been going very well, we are both very blessed,” said Michelle Ford-Thompson, co-owner of the restaurant.

The grill is currently open from eleven A.M to seven P.M every day. In the future, the goal is to expand the bakery to include breads and bagels, and to begin serving breakfast. Our Grille is located off on Avenue A in KI Sawyer.
