Sadowski found not guilty on all charges

MARQUETTE — Jason Sadowski was found not guilty on all charges by a jury Friday evening.

Sadowski was charged with one count of solicitation of murder, two counts of torture, two counts of false imprisonment and two counts of assault by strangulation. The charges stem from a 2013 incident in which Sadowski was accused of keeping two women at a karate dojo in Ishpeming against their will.

Sadowski was found guilty the following year and sentenced to 40 to 80 years in prison. In December of 2015, the Michigan Court of Appeals granted Sadowski’s request for a new trial, citing that his confrontation rights were violated. Stay with ABC on this developing story.
