Winter Wonderland shedding new light on chamber members
CHAMPION — The cold weather has many people hibernating in their homes. The Great Ishpeming-Negaunee Chamber of Commerce has an upcoming event to get rid of that cabin fever and get everyone outdoors.
The first annual, West End Winter Wonderland will give people of all ages the chance to snowshoe, hike, ski, even bike on the perfectly groomed lit trails of the Wawonowin Country Club. Local businesses will be offering additional wintery activities along with some delicious food options. Border Grill, Honors Credit Union, and the Cognition Brewery are just a few of the businesses that will be at the event displaying their individual stations.
Holding this winter wonderland, gives the public the chance to interact with chamber members in a different light than usual.
“This is a first year event so we’re really excited to engage the west end in a different way and show off night life with a little bit of physical activity. It’s not a race at all, you don’t need to go to every station but you’ll want to,” said Great Ishpeming-Negaunee Chamber of Commerce Executive Director, Danielle LaCavalla.
The event will be held on February 11th from 6 to 9 P.M. Wednesday is the last day to get the discounted ticket price, these of which can be purchased online by clicking here, along with stopping in the Greater Ishpeming-Negaunee Chamber of Commerce.
