Man arrested for stealing credit cards
MARQUETTE — A Marquette man is in trouble with the law for allegedly stealing credit cards.
The Marquette City Police Department arrested Darrell Clark, 39, on Monday on one count of illegal use of a financial transaction device. Police say Clark stole credit cards from a wallet that was in a vehicle in north Marquette.
Clark attempted to use one of the stolen credit cards at numerous gas stations throughout the Marquette area. Police were able to identify him through surveillance footage.
Clark faces up to four years in prison and/or a $5,000 fine if he’s convicted.
