Armed robbery suspects taken into custody

MARQUETTE — Three suspects in an armed robbery that happened earlier this month have been taken into custody.

Marquette City Police say 21-year-old Daniel Ayotte and 19-year-old Brandon Beaman, both of Ishpeming, were arrested by Ishpeming Police on warrants in connection to the alleged armed robbery in the City of Marquette. Twenty-one year old Bobbie Joe Weymouth was also taken into custody by Marquette Police on an armed robbery warrant after a high-speed chase on Saturday morning.

The incident happened shortly before 6:30 a.m. on March 14th. It was reported that several suspects entered a home on the 500 block of North Fourth Street and robbed the occupants at gunpoint. The suspects then fled the scene.

Police say warrant arrests are still pending on at least one other suspect in connection to the robbery.
