Woman injured in one-car rollover
CRYSTAL FALLS TOWNSHIP — One woman was taken to the hospital after a rollover crash in Crystal Falls Township early Saturday morning.
Troopers from the Michigan State Police Iron Mountain Post say the accident happened around 4:15 a.m. on M-69 near Hope Mine Road. A car driven by a 29-year-old female was the only car involved in the rollover.
The woman was taken by ambulance to Northstar Hospital for treatment. Her nine month old child was also in the car. The child was not injured. The driver was wearing her seatbelt and the child was in a car seat.
Police say the accident remains under investigation, but alcohol is not believed to have been a factor in the crash. Michigan State Police were assisted at the scene by the Crystal Falls Fire Department and Aspirus Emergency Services.
