UPSET investigation finds heroin & crack cocaine; two arrested
An investigation by two drug enforcement teams has resulted in the arrest of two Dickinson County men.
Detectives from the Upper Peninsula Substance Enforcement Team (UPSET) with support from the KIND narcotics unit arrested a 32-year-old Iron Mountain man today in Kingsford. He’s been jailed one count of possession with intent to deliver cocaine and one count of possession with intent to deliver heroin.
As part of their investigation, police arrested another man, a 38-year-old Iron Mountain resident, for delivery of heroin and crack cocaine plus possession with intent to deliver crack cocaine. Police also seized packaged crack cocaine, cash and a motorcycle.
The names of the arrested men will not be released until they’re arraigned.
