U.P. teen severely injured in car accident
PEMBINE, WISC. — An Upper Peninsula teen is fighting for her life.
A two vehicle head-on crash that took place in Pembine on U.S. HWY 141 on Sunday around 2 p.m. left a sixteen year old girl from Iron Mountain with life threatening injuries.
The girl was trapped in her vehicle, extricated and flown to St. Vincent’s hospital in Green Bay. The girl reportedly crossed the center line and hit a southbound vehicle driven by a fifty six year old Green Bay woman, who was transported to Dickinson Hospital.
No further information is available at this time on the condition of the individuals. The crash is still under investigation by the Marinette County Sheriff’s Office.
