Man arrested for allegedly choking his girlfriend
FORSYTH TOWNSHIP — A Gwinn man has been arrested and charged with a felony after police say he choked his girlfriend.
At 12:30 p.m. on April 2nd, the Forsyth Police Department responded to a Domestic Violence call at the 400 block of North River Drive. During their investigation, police say that 29-year-old Brandon James Strohm of Gwinn allegedly assaulted his 26-year-old girlfriend. Police say that Strohm choked his girlfriend during the assault.
Strohm was charged in Marquette County District Court this morning with Assault by Strangulation, which is a 10-year felony. He is due back in court on April 20th for a preliminary exam.
