Armed robbery suspect found competent to stand trial

A Marquette man accused of robbing a pizza delivery man in February has been found competent to stand trial.

Steven Baker, 22, is charged with armed robbery, firearm possession by a felon and firearm possession during commission of a crime.

Baker’s case was placed on hold so that he could undergo a competency exam which he has now passed. No trial date has been set yet.

Baker is accused of robbing a pizza delivery man at gunpoint on the 100 block of West Michigan Street in Marquette on February 14th. He’s being held in the Marquette County Jail on $200,000 bond.
