Individuals arrested for Home Invasion among other charges

MARQUETTE COUNTY — The Marquette County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a Home Invasion that occurred in Sands Township on Saturday January 4th.

Deputies were dispatched for a suspicious vehicle parked near a residence. A check of the vehicle’s owner revealed the vehicle was stolen. Footprints were followed to a nearby residence where three subjects were located outside and one was located inside the residence.

Two individuals were arrested following the investigation. 33-year-old, Michael Latta, was arrested for Home Invasion – First Degree and driving a stolen vehicle. 28-year-old, Courtney Latta, was arrested for Home Invasion – First Degree and Resisting and Obstructing. Both subjects have been arraigned and are in custody at the Marquette County Jail.

This case is still under investigation.
