Reverse raffle at Marquette Regional History Center
MARQUETTE — A fundraising event happened in Marquette today, where some had the chance to win $5,000.00 in a reverse raffle.
Beacon House’s fifth annual Reverse Draw Raffle Party was hosted at the Marquette Regional History Center this evening, where some were able to enjoy a nice dinner and have the chance to bid on certain items that were donated by local businesses and restaurants.
Everyone also had a chance to win a grand prize $5000 and a rebound bowl prize of $1000. Even if you didn’t win either prize you still received a great meal and the opportunity to support the Beacon House.
“It’s a great time and money well spent,” said, Beacon house supporter, Jesse Schramm. “Especially we’ve moved to the spring and it used to be a winter event. So the weather is starting to get nice and you can get out and take your spouse out on a date. It’s a great dinner and a lot of fun.”
The event started at 6pm and all proceeds will go to the operating expenses at the Beacon House in Marquette.
