Interview with Lt. Governor Gilchrist
ABC10 hosted the Lt. Governor Gilchrist at our Ishpeming studio to discuss topics that are important to the Upper Peninsula.
We went over how beautiful it is in the U.P. especially with the gold colors shining so brightly from the trees. We also discussed further topics that matter to U.P. families such as free breakfast and lunch to all students in the public education system. He was stopping at a school later that day and mentioned how he wonders if the students are enjoying the food given at schools.
The Negaunee Regional Communication Center just recently had their ribbon cutting ceremony for their new facility. Lt. Governor Gilchrist mentioned how important public safety means to him and how investing in public safety is always going to be necessary and evolving.
