Carnegie Museum Honors Mary Wright
The Carnegie Museum of Keweenaw, in collaboration with Rise U.P., Invite the community to a reception Nov. 2 honoring Wright, who passed away in 2021. She was well known in the U.P. as the originator of the Heikinpaiva Mittens in Hancock, the Story Line project at Houghton’s Rozsa Center for the Performing Arts, and the Doors project and Finn Fest Chairs which were displayed in Marquette.
The reception will take place at the Carnegie Museum on Huron Street in Houghton at 5:30 p.m. All are welcome and refreshments will be served.
