“FARM–TO–SCHOOL CAMP” IN ISHPEMING

Partridge Creek Farm in partnership with MARESA Health Educators will be hosting the first ever Farm-to-School Camp June 21-25, from 12-4pm at the Ishpeming Middle School Garden (3rd and Cleveland in Ishpeming– see below).

22 students (incoming 5th and 6th graders) from Ishpeming, Negaunee, and Westwood schools will come together to learn how to grow and cook healthy food.

We would like to invite you all to come during any of the following times/ dates/ locations.

Superior Health Foundation provided Pilot Grant Funding to help make this program possible.

Tuesday, 6/22 between 1-3pm at the School Garden (location below)

OR

Wednesday, 6/23 between 1-3pm at the Inspiration Orchard (on the corner of North and York in Ishpeming * this is a special Pollinator Day where the students will be learning about the BEES we have at the orchard and trying local honey)
