Walled Lake man sentenced in connection with 2019 sexual assault case
MENOMINEE — On July 21 in Menominee, a man was sentenced in connection with a 2019 sexual assault case.
31-year-old Cody Adam Quackenbush of Walled Lake has been sentenced to 10 to 15 years in prison for sexually assaulting a 15-year-old girl last year in Stephenson.
On May 8 of this year, Quackenbush pled guilty to a single count of Criminal Sexual Conduct, Third Degree. The incident occurred on August 16 of 2019, when incriminating Snapchat messages from Quackenbush were found on the girl’s cell phone. Three lengths of rope, adult toys, and alcohol were found in the trunk of Quackenbush’s vehicle.
Quackenbush has eight previous felony convictions, as well as 12 misdemeanors.
