Senator Mike Prusi Endorses Dana Ferguson
Negaunee, MI – Former State Representative and State Senator Mike Prusi endorses Dana Ferguson for US Congress for Michigan’s 1st Congressional District. Mike Prusi had most recently served as the Northern Michigan Director for Governor Gretchen Whitmer and prior to serving in the state legislature he served as President for the United Steelworkers local 4950 here in Negaunee.
“The problems that face rural Michigan can best be handled by someone who was born and raised here. Someone who has faced these issues in their lives on a daily basis. I believe Dana Ferguson is that person. That’s why Dana has my whole-hearted support to represent the U.P. and northern Michigan in Congress,” said Mike Prusi.
Dana Ferguson is a native of Negaunee and a third-generation resident of the 1st Congressional District. He has a bachelor’s degree in economics and a master’s degree in Public Administration. Dana put himself through college by working as a Union Laborer with Laborers International Union of North America, and the Carpenters and Millwrights.
