Donart: Pop Up Art Show at The Crib supports local artists and United Way of Marquette
MARQUETTE — On Saturday, February 1, a pop-up art show will be hosted by The Crib Coffee House & Roastery in Marquette.
The Donart: Pop Up Art Show will feature 16 local artists. There will be something for everybody, with mediums ranging from photography and ceramics to illustration and painting.
A percentage of the proceeds from the art show will go toward the nonprofit organization United Way of Marquette County.
“It’s a pop-up art show that I put together so that we could display a lot of local artists,” said Rachel Storck, Donart organizer. “And then part of the proceeds goes toward the United Way. So anything that’s sold, 25% will go to the United Way. It’s just a one night thing, but I have 16 artists, and we’re really excited.
The art show will be open to the public 5:00 to 8:00 in the evening. Attending the show and considering purchasing a piece of art is a great way to support local artists and United Way.
