Arrests made in connection to graffiti

MARQUETTE — Marquette Police have arrested two subjects in connection to graffiti that has been occurring in the City of Marquette.
On April 11th, 2019, Marquette Police arrested 21-year-old Marquette resident Tekhla Edwards and 25-year-old Marquette resident Josue Paredes, on numerous warrants out of the Marquette County Prosecutor’s Office.
Tekhla Edwards is charged with 2 misdemeanor counts of Malicious Destruction of a Building, 6 misdemeanor counts of Malicious Destruction of Personal Property and 4 felony counts of Malicious Destruction of Personal Property. Josue Paredes is charged with 2 counts of Misdemeanor Malicious Destruction to a Building, 5 counts of misdemeanor Malicious Destruction of Property and 4 felony counts of Malicious Destruction of Personal Property.
Both were lodged in the Marquette County Jail.
Bond for Edwards was set at 10% of $30,000 and bond for Paredes was set at 10% of $27,500.
