Two arrested for breaking into cars, stealing

MARQUETTE — On Sunday December 30th, 2018 at approximately 3:46 a.m., Marquette Police were dispatched to the area of the 400 block of Blemhuber Avenue in reference of two subjects that were allegedly breaking into vehicles.

 

 

Upon arrival, Marquette Police made contact with the subjects who were found to be in possession of numerous stolen items, some of which came from vehicles in that area.

Both subjects were placed under arrest and lodged at the Marquette County Jail.

17-year-old, Marquette resident, William Overmyer was arrested for:

  • Breaking and Entering of a Motor Vehicle to Steal Property under $200.
  • Larceny from a Motor Vehicle
  • Carrying a Concealed Weapon
  • Possession of a Taser

17-year-old, Marquette resident, Jordan Benz was arrested for Breaking and Entering of a Motor Vehicle to Steal Property under $200.
