Hiawatha Music Festival being held next weekend
MARQUETTE — The Hiawatha Music Co-op is celebrating its 40th traditional Music Festival on July 20th through the 22nd of July this year.
The festival will have a lot different musicians playing traditional American Music. The event will be held at Tourist Park in Marquette where people will be able to purchase campsites, food from some local vendors and even tickets if you were unable to get one before the festival.
The Hiawatha Music Co-op encourages all ages to come and experience the festival in its 40th year being hosted.
“We encourage everybody to come try it,” said Hiawatha Music Festival Board Member, Susan Bertram. “Buy a day ticket and try it out. We will welcome you with open arms, show you around if you need it. We will let you know what traditional music and family camping is all about.
The Festival starts on Friday at 12 pm and ends Sunday night.
