GINCC hosted Children’s Carnival in Ishpeming
ISHPEMING — A free and fun event for families happened in Ishpeming today, where children got to have fun playing games and winning free prizes.
The Greater Ishpeming-Negaunee Area Chamber of Commerce (GINCC) put together a Children’s Carnival to help give back to the community and to bring everyone together. The event was hosted at River Rock Lanes and Banquet Center where many businesses from the local community brought a fun game in support of the event.
The chamber is working hard to show that they are not only here in support of small businesses, but the community as a whole.
“This is just a free community event we wanted to put on mostly to show that the chamber cares about the community as well,” said, Executive Director GINCC, Kelsey Reyes. “We are not just small businesses and organizations; we are the community so we wanted to give back the best way we know how.”
Many people, including ABC’s Dane Wurmlinger, joined in and helped with the dunk tank.
