LUCE COUNTY — The Upper and Lower Tahquamenon Falls at Tahquamenon Falls State Park in Luce County is temporarily closed due to high water from spring runoff.

According to a press release from the Michigan Department of Transportation, the spring flows have not subsided, and there are several sections of trail which are underwater and have become quite hazardous.

The trail will be re-opened once the water level drops and the trail can be assessed for safety hazards. The latest information on the closure will be available HERE.
