Two dead in Dickinson County following two-vehicle accident
SAGOLA TOWNSHIP — Two teenagers are dead following an accident on M-95 in Sagola Township on Saturday morning.
Troopers from the Michigan State Police Iron Mountain Post responded to a two-vehicle accident at 10:49 a.m. on M-95 near the Marquette County and Dickinson County border.
A vehicle occupied by 18 year-old Taylor Bosley and 17 year-old Jolene Treml, both from Kingsford, was traveling northbound on M-95 when Bosley lost control of the vehicle. The vehicle crossed over the center line and collided with a vehicle traveling southbound.
The second vehicle was occupied by 46 year-old Steven Anderson, 40 year-old Julie Anderson and their two children. The Anderson’s were transported to UPHS – Marquette to be treated for their injuries. Bosley and Treml were pronounced dead at the scene.
Speed and weather conditions are considered to be factors in the crash. All persons involved were wearing seat belts.
Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office, STAR Ambulance, Beacon Ambulance, Integrity Ambulance, Sagola Fire and Rescue and Republic Township Fire and Rescue assisted on the scene.
