IRONWOOD — Two bear cubs and a sow are said to be making their way through the City of Ironwood.
According to the Ironwood Public Safety Department, the trio of bears is in the are of East Pine Street. The Michigan Department of Natural Resources is on scene monitoring the bears and going door-to-door to inform people in the immediate area.
Authorities are asking residents to move food sources such as bird feeders and garbage cans until the morning they’re scheduled to be picked up.
Officers are also asking people to not approach the bears.
